Antargange Cave Exploration - 68 kms.

Nearest landmark: You will see HP petrol bunk on left and Mandavi motors on right. Take left from next cut. 

Distance from Bangalore: 68 Kms from Bellandur

Highway: Kolar road.

Highway Type: You can cruise to the top speed of your bike. This is the best road I have so far encountered.

Places to Eat: While returning, there are bunch of restaurants. 

Trip Type: Hill climb, Trekking.

Trek Type: Moderate.

Time taken to trek up: 45 Minutes.

Time taken to trek down: 35 Minutes.

Activities: Trekking, Cave Exploration. There is a well with broken stairs (if you know what I mean). There is a pond where in you can take bath too. 

Time preference: Any time throughout the year. 

Bikes: TB350 (Anant), TB350 (Sachin) Duke (Nutan), Pulsar NS (Krutarth), CBR 250 (Abhinav), R15 (Tanmay), FZ (Anand)

Parking Available: Yes.

Tips: 
  1. Monkeys are there as well. Again, don't unnecessarily freak them out.
  2. People might get offended when you are climbing the hill with shoes. Don't heat up.
  3. In caves, don;t get too much excited. Be careful as you might get hurt. 
  4. Fat people won't be able to get into the caves (don't mind peeps). Please have a look on the images first before you head to this place. 
  5. Local folks will ask to help you for cave explorations. Go for it. Without them, it is really hard to explore.
  6. However these folks will lure you for a FORT trek, from there only. There is no fort at all. (Even if there was one, it has collapsed completely). If you are ready to do too much trekking, go for it, given this was very tiring. 



Shivgange Hill Trek - 71 KMS.

Distance from Bangalore: 71 Kms from Bellandur

Highway: Tumkur Road.

Highway Type: You can cruise. Good roads throughout the way.

Places to Eat: There is a shop near to parking, server good south indian food.

Trip Type: Hill climb, Trekking.

Trek Type: Tough. 

Time taken to trek up: 70 Minutes.

Time taken to trek down: 90 Minutes (as we lost route)

Activities: Play around monkeys. On top there is a temple. 

Time preference: Any time throughout the year. 

Bikes: Pulsar (Zakeer), Pulsar (Nutan), Pulsar NS (Krutarth), Pulsar (Sanath)

Parking Available: Yes.

Tips: 
  1. Trek is really draining one, Carry water bottles. 
  2. There are lot of monkeys. Don’t ping them. 
  3. You will see three temples in the whole trek, don't get confused and reach till the top. 
  4. Once you reach Peenya (Gurguntepalya), don't go above 50kmph. Cops might catch you in interceptor. 



Nijagal Betta - 75 Kms






Nearest landmark: CCD Tumkur, 200 mts ahead of the cut from Dabaspete.

Distance from Bangalore: 74 Kms from Bellandur

Highway: Tumkur Road.

Highway Type: You can cruise. Good roads. Near the hill, you will have to do some off-roading.

Places to Eat: Kamat Upachar

Trip Type: Hill climb, Trekking.

Trek Type: Steep, but easy as stairs are there. 

Time taken to trek up: 50 minutes.

Time taken to trek down: 30 minutes.

Activities: Cave Exploration, Off-roading. There is a temple and a Mosque on the top.

Time preference: Any time throughout the year. 

Bikes: TB500 (Me), TB350 (Anant), Duke (Nutan), Pulsar NS200 (Krutarth), FZ (Anand).

Parking available: No. We locked our helmets with front wheels (Nutan's Suggestion).

Tips: 
  1. Carry a bottle of water. 
  2. There are big rocks, If you are going on top, be careful. 
  3. There are lot of monkeys. Don’t ping them. 
  4. Leave early from Bangalore (around 5 am) to avoid sunshine on your head.
  5. Searching Nijagal betta in google maps leads to 'siddara betta', where exactly you have to go. While, searching siddara betta gives you another result which 115 kms from bangalore. So don't get confused. Use the link provided above. 
  6. Once you reach Peenya (Gurguntepalya), don't go above 50kmph. Cops might catch you in interceptor.
